so my friend is at his girlfriend's house while her parents are gone, right? he isn't home and he can't get his car so his girlfriend wants him to come over so bad that she calls a cab for him. so they're on her couch when her parents come home early. he can't leave cause he took a cab to get there so he calls 4 or 5 of his friends and they're all stoned and wasted. they say, "hey dude let's go rob a house" and they all start laughing, and he's like "uhh how about let's not" and they say come on dude, why don't you just be the look-out then? so he says okay because he doesn't think they're serious. turns out they actually are. they go into a house and all the lights turn on and he hears screaming throughout the house, so he was like "dude what the hell f**k this" and he takes off running down the street and hops in the nearest car he could find and drives away. he took the car back to our school's parking garage and left it there i swear to god this is a 100% true story

the guy who stole the car wasn't drunk/stoned. nor did he plan on stealing the car. it was an impulse decision to get as far away from the house as possible.

why did he steal a car though? if i had to flee the scene of a crime, i wouldn't commit another crime. also how did he steal a car? were the doors unlocked and the keys just sitting in there? seems unlikely
