When Roblox updates, we usually get some cool new feature or bug fix, but usually we never know what actually happened.
When a major update (such as GUIs) comes out, it may get a blog or forum post. But other times, updates are simply thrown out and we have to trial and error almost everything roblox has, just to find we have something utterly unimportant changed. That's why I believe Roblox should post updates in the blog whenever something gets updated, but not just ones that are really important. Right now the blog only seems good for advertising new hats and gears, or more BC only features. Here's how I feel the posts should go:
Roblox Blog lolol
Update - (update number) - (date)
• Changed Gravity to 9000
• Humanoids now have a chance of falling off ladders
• Changed physics engine so parts will fly in random directions
• Free players now have to buy BC if they want to view the website
• blah blah blah
• etc.
It can't be too hard for the devs to make, just jotting down a note when they change a value and such, but it would make a lot of difference for the players so they know where to start trying out new features, however minor. |

I think roblox should have a WoW launcher like thing on the front page.. you know, it would show "patch notes for xx.xx.xx" and all news post, important forum posts and recent popular posts :P |
I support, i hate it when i have to SEARCH for the new update.. |
I was thinking more of the steam updates. Maybe a forum thread to go along with each update for user opinions of if they broke something. |
• Free players now have to buy BC if they want to view the website
what the? isnt that P2P (pat 2 play nor peer to peer)
that would KILL roblox |
That parts a joke.
Also bump. |

"• Free players now have to buy BC if they want to view the website"
You win 5 internets for the awesome relevant joke.
Good idea; it should also be kept seperate from content updates. We don't really care that Telamon made 20 bajillion new hats. |
The thread is now at the top of the forum. |
I made the same idea. Search for something like Developer's Notes in the search box. We have a way to view this stuff. But it's blocked. |
It's good to know someone else had the same idea. So why exactly would an admin forum with update notes be hidden? I read your thread and I doubt a hacker could do much good with "hey telamon i added rotation to frames but the calculation's off", or "1.33.7: Frames now have rotation" or however the threads go in there. (if at all)
Is there even a hidden dev forum? Where's your proof?
Also, why are you the2nd now? |
Anyway, now my two threads have been bumped. |
This should happen, I agree with you 100% |
I'm going to bump this thread now. |
when they first said GUI i bet only 20 people knew what that ment there should be a fourm for updates for dummies |

100% agreed. when I check the news, I only gte pointless news about telamon making hats, and very little information about GUI and programming updates. I think there should be forum threads about the updates and help for people who don't understand GUI's. |
The devs secret forum is the staff group, lol. |
I'm going to bump one thread, then the other the next day, etc. |
Whenever I bump this, I get one or two posts agreeing, then it sinks to page 50.
I guess it's because I'm asleep when all you American people are on so you never see it. |

yea, where it says forum, next to it, it says news, it can be by there, where it says whats new, example
step 1. clcik news,
2. there should be made a "whats new" button
3. clcik whats new
4. read wats new :) |
