So, I unioned the walls in the room rogether but now for some reason it's not allowing me to go through this door? Any ideas why? |
does it work of the walls just for the door are unioned? |
No idea... when ever I try to separate my Roblox Studio crashes... |
Save it as a model and then separate it in new game so u have less lag and u can figure the problem out |
Is anybody else as impressed I am with that build? |

@aro
Yea, I never get lag or anything... even if I do what you said my Studio still crashes with the "Error, you'll have to quit Roblox" message. |
Y not just redo the walls
try making a negative part then putting the negative part through the doorway and unioning it again |
Edit: Fixed it, just remade walls. |

unions ruin small spaces (corners and door ways) |
Was there any sort of transparent, cancollide false part in the doorway you may have included in the union? Because that part would become solid if it was part of a union. |

If you want to make doorways in unions, using negate to make a hole is not enough. There must be a physical lack of physical objects withing that space (just make a door way then union the parts together. I find that Roblox had an easier time separating unions when thy all had the same width and when I changed the width of one negate part and tried to separate Roblox crashed. Unions seem a little buggy in some places, but overall I love them so much. |

Using negate to make a hole works just fine for me. |

If you have a very large surface with a small percentage of it as an opening, the physics engine will not recognize it as a hole. Many people have tried putting a small hole in a large baseplate and find they can just walk over the 'opening'.
I don't know if this pertains to your case. |
