Personally, this makes me really sad. As someone who had a hell of a time playing ROBLOX as a kid with my friends, this is so disappointing. I never paid for ROBLOX. But I was still an active member in the community and would have gotten a membership if I could have. But I still was able to have fun because of the measly ways I could get some tickets to get some cool custom content for my avatar, which is a huge part of the immersion, which the devs are pounding that this somehow will aid that. It doesn't. I came back after five years and wanted to check the site out again since it was one of the few great games from that time that hadn't shut down, but apparently they might as well have; the site is sell-out garbage now. What's next, will you have to pay an entrance fee to go to a place? One of the most rewarding things about this game was being able to customize your character and go to different places and meet new people. There were seasonal events where you could collect cool rare hats and items. Now, it's just about being stingy. You're gonna force people to pay real money for CLOTHES on their avatars, and claim you're trying to aid in immersion? Ridiculous. I understand the site needs money. I get that. I was able to get memberships for a bunch of games, because they made me feel like it was worth it. Like I was supporting something good. I don't want to feel forced to pay for something as simple as CLOTHES as a casual player who enjoys and supports other people's creations and doesn't really make my own. It should not be one-sided. That just ruins the spirit of the game, and it feels stagnant and monetized. I'm sad they managed to ruin such a great thing, it's a shame it really is. Greed is what ends all good online games/communities. |

I personally feel sorry for OP here. Unlike all these whiny scrubs that still want their precious TIX to come back after months and months, I have got over it and it took a pain's while to get over it. In fact, I feel sorry for children not getting temporary jobs for ROBUX. All this guy just did was suggest the idea back in 2015 and this thread keeps getting bumped numerous times with hatred with most of them coming from people with low post count.
I get it 2016 has been a rough year for ROBLOX, but at least it wasn't as rough as YouTube's 2016. Believe it or not, YouTube has went into another age and only a little amount of people who goes to YouTube would know what I'm talking about. I have playlists that contain these videos, but are set to private for numerous reasons.
