Okay, I kind of got hooked on RWBY, so I want to make it into an RP. Here's the intro:
~ Welcome to Beacon Academy- a home to students who come here hold aspirations to be Hunters and Huntresses- whose duty is to keep the peace within the world. Beacon is the best school of its kind and only opens its doors to those who have proved their worth. Feel proud of yourselves, for you all have earned it, but be ready. Danger is coming- and you must be ready to fight. I'm sure you have all heard the rumors, about how The White Fang and an unknown organization have teamed up. We aren't sure what their plan is yet, but we are certain it is not good.

Anyway, I'm going to summarize some key points that were not mentioned in the intro. (If I missed anything feel free to tell me) I recommend you read this if you are not familiar with the world of RWBY.
Dust: Dust is a source of energy in the world of RWBY. Dust is known as an energy propellant, and acts a power source for weapons and machinery. However, Dust can still be used without the aid of weapons or machines.
Aura: Aura is the manifestation of one's soul in the RWBY universe, and can be used for a wide range of abilities. The specific ability and its strength is determined by who the user is, as well as the level of skill that he/she possesses.
Semblance: Semblance is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power. It's ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user. Not everyone has it. (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.) Some examples include, Polarity, Speed, and Creating clones.
Faunus: Faunuses are a race of humanoid people in the world of RWBY who possess physical animal traits. Normally tails, horns, or ears. Faunuses are bullied and often seen as lesser beings. They also can see in the dark.
White Fang: After the Faunus Rights Revolution, the White Fang was founded as a symbol of peace and unity between Faunuses and Humans. However, Humankind continued to discriminate the Faunus, prompting the White Fang to become the voice of the Faunus. Since their old leader has stepped down, thier activities have since gone from peaceful to violent.
Grimm: Grimm are monsters, which inhabit various parts of Remnant (The world of RWBY). They are described as "creatures of destruction" and lack a soul; hence, they are unable to use Aura
Weapons: Most often, they are based on real weapons, but are given additional features to increase their versatility and effectiveness in combat. Some transform(Ruby wields a Scythe that tuns into a gun) and others utilize dust (Weiss has a Rapier that uses dust).
Teams: Teams consist of 4 members The first letters of the teammates' names form a word. For example, Team RWBY (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang.). As you can see, it is very lenient. I'll try to create the names. ~

I remember last year when I made the first proper RWBY RP. Then I got tons of popular RPers to watch it. Then I got Slack obsessed. I think even Mage liked it, too. I'm never joining a role play here again but you should really go for it. If it was written well like mine it'll go far. |
