Florida makes the playoffs over Boston.
Luongo is playing amazing, as well as Aaron Ekblad. The Panthers have a relatively difficult schedule this month, but with any luck they could come out with a very good record in February. However in March, the Panthers have a very easy schedule including playing Toronto twice.
The Bruins on the other hand have obviously not had a great year. Losing their captain for two weeks certainly didn't help, but they have still played horribly. The Bruins relied on their goaltenders largely in their success over the past years with Tim Thomas and Tuuka Rask. Rask is still playing well, but isn't having the Vezina Trophy winning season he had last year, which was the main force of the Bruins' success. |
