So, thousands of years ago, Magic existed as a natural ability. Most people knew at least a little bit of it. However, one day, Demons entered our world, and a massive war started. We where almost drove to the brink of darkness, both humans and anthros.
The war was at it's climax, our side was almost wiped out. Until a legendary mage, half human and half anthro, sacrificed himself in a spell that was so powerful, it destroyed all of the demons on our side, and sealed shut the opening between the worlds. That event, known as the Shining, was the day that the world's magic power was drained. Since then, only those who have seen demons have been able to gain magic powers.
In this modern time, the seal has finally broken. More and more demons are noticing, and are passing through the portal to destroy our world.
This portal is located on the campus of the world-famous university, College Animalia. Lately, demons have been resurfacing, and many incidents have taken place. Nothing serious, but these incidents are becoming more and more deadly. You are a freshman student at this school, and are almost oblivious to the fact that demons are starting to break into our world. Until the night you are attacked by demons, and unlock your magic powers. |
