So I was thinking about how I got rid of some beloved gear before, which I regret to this day, but I was wondering, why not switch delete with inactive?
Make it the same as your games, you decide which ones are active, so when you go to a game, only the active ones appear, and you can gain them back later if you wish to, since you might have made a mistake in hating a gear, but not knowing a special trick to it.
Maybe being able to have it not show up in your public inventory would be nice, so if you didn't want people to know you have something, you could make it inactive and no one would know you have that stuff.
Having this system instead of deleting, could also make hackers less of a threat, since they can't delete your account, then you can get your account settled after a while, but the admins wont have to take the time and give you your items, or mods, I have no idea who helps people, if anyone even does, with lost items from hacks.
Although if someone makes a bad shirt or pants, and hacks your account and gives you them, it wouldn't be nice to remember them, since they might bring bad memories. I am also not certain if people can change shirts or pants they made, but if so, then they might make them bad, and you would want them gone, so deleting shirts and pants could be a nice option. Models can be changed, and you might get a lot of unwanted models, so deleting them would be nice too, if someone makes the model into something you hate.
I'm not too confident with a delete button on models and shirts, but I would definitely like to have the delete switched to inactive with gears and hats. |
