On arrival of trainees: A long wait shows which ones really want to be there I would say a 15 minute wait is enough or less. This also can be related to a op when you are walking to a base and there is no Hostiles.
PT: Although JJs are "banned" Almost all SOF units still use them to see the RQers and the lets say not as smart. Effectively completing 100 or 200 JJs shows they have focus. A good system is to give them 3 strikes if they spell something wrong or mess up in anyway they have to restart and get a strike three strikes and they get kicked. Another technique is running if someone speaks out of turn or does a action to provoke you or the instructors have the whole class run.
Obbies: Have them run the course once for a base line then have them run it in whatever the average time was.
TDM: Simple TDM make sure ones that pass either go positive, do better than at least one operator, have more kills that one operator. Which tests a candidates simple combat skills.
Simple Sim op: Although most sim op stuff is learned in SP1 it is smart to make sure they know how to value lives because on a raid or op a death means being separated from your squad and may lead to a failure of a objective. Another thing tested should be attention to detail and successful carrying out of orders.
Again this is can be altered to your liking it is not official and use your best judgement when selecting who makes it to SP1.
