Pay players by how perform every game instead of having salary and guaranteed money.

That would be really difficult to measure how a player played each game and there would probably be arguments between players and owners on the pay.

"Pay players by how perform every game instead of having salary and guaranteed money." Major holes in this 1. Disagreements between player/coaches on performance 2. Can lead to players not getting paid at all 3. Can lead to locker room disagreements and hostility 4. Any players union would file a lawsuit (and win) if any league tried this 5. Too much work for the front office, who will see it as tedious, unnecessary, and will probably be angry that they have to deal with players' salaries and gripes after every game 6. Players leave the league and go to a different one where they will gladly pay lucrative guaranteed contracts for top talent (ex. CFL, Nippon Baseball League, Basketball Euroleagues)

Also, how do you work out compensation for injured players? And don't say not pay them, because that's illegal
