This would be quite nice. If users make a mistake in their post, they can delete it and think over what they want to say or just consider not posting at all. They would also be able to update it and correct any errors such as "you're" and "your" or put in a few more lines. If a user suggests an idea and lots of people do not agree, they can delete their thread and stop a flame war before it starts. Groups can also take old promo guides and simply revise them instead of posting a new one that may confuse users with older versions.
*Users would not be able to delete posts on their threads, just threads they own that they want to remove
*Page symbol next to Thread Subject will be changed to 'blue' if the author decides to revise it, letting people know that there are new updates in the thread's Subject. This would make update logs anyone would like to keep for games, models, groups and more much easier and efficient.
*Any threads that are deleted by an individual will be sent to a mod so they can make sure there was nothing insulting or inappropriate someone posted. They will then be able to prevent said person from posting anything like that again if they had posted anything of the sort. |
