I think we should be able to resize and reposition the default GUI objects that have always been a part of roblox. It would allow for easier customization of our own gui layouts. For instance, a gui layout I'm working on now works fine until someone says something and the chat messages get in the way. If we could move the chat boxes somewhere else, this wouldn't be a problem. It would also allow for really unique HUDs. (You could move tool selection to another side, change around the health, and add your own ammo gui objects.) This, along with font size and some new gui objects would really make the gui feature great. |

You don't need to move the chatboxes. Just move the GUI messages. |
xiao, not all of us wan't a chat box either. >.> |
I know I can move them too, but for a practical location (in my case) they just happen to be behind the chat messages. |
Pugzy, if you don't want chatboxes, turn them off. It's that simple. |

Xiao, Get.Off. Forums. Now. |

Your problem is that you want a complicated answer for a simple problem. Just go to account settings and switch it from chat to menu. |
Of course it's not the point. It's the solution. If you don't want to read chat, then turn it off. You can't get any simpler than that, unless you enjoy people talking trash to you. |
>.>
I like the chat, but what if I want chat out of my place, I cannot do that, unless I hack or exploit, and I will not get banned for something so simple to add. |
Well there are ways to script your games to disable chat for certain players on command, or to disable it for everybody automatically. Figure it out or ask someone to do it for you. |
And even if they can't script disable chats, they can still script the place toremove anything said and replace it with a single space, making people say nothing at all when they try to talk. |
Xiao, you can't change what people say (as far as I know). |
