In a how to video, they said you get electrocuted from the motherboard, is this true?
And I'd like the pc to goto graphics 10 on apoc too if possible.

as long as everything is powered off and you aren't messing with any of the components on the motherboard it won't electrocute you
and are you saying you already have 8.1? |

If you're not doing anything crazy (eg installing components with the motherboard plugged in), you won't shock yourself or your parts.
Static is a different story, but you just need to be careful.
My personal tips;
1. Keep pets (dogs, cats and rabbits especially) out of the area.
2. If you can, avoid baggy clothes, but this isn't too necessary
3. DO NOT PUT PARTS ON TOP OF A TABLETOP OR THEIR ANTISTATIC BAGS. Tables might have hair, but their anti-static bags are frequently conductive on the outside to avoid damaging parts inside. Put them on their cardboard boxes.
4. This one isn't truly necessary, but it's pretty easy to do and does help - Install your power supply first, plug it in but do NOT turn it on. Every once in a while, touch the power supply, it will ground you out.
5. Hold parts by their plastic shrouds or other non-conductive parts (like the plastic on motherboards, the sides of a graphics card, etc) |

Would it be safe if I put it on a glass table? |
