if i get a survey of how many people in russia like their government if i only ask 100 people who happen to be some of the richest people in russia with ties to the government, my results would be 'Oh yes we love the government' the survey did exactly what it was put to do. was it used incorrectly? yes. was it in an unfair and biased manner? yes. but it is still the statistics gathered, whether it be seen accurate to the rest of the people is on the manner of human error/bias

same way as a computer can't make a mistake it could have faults in its programming from human error or outside effects that made it faulty, but it is not the computer itself.

Statistics can't be wrong. That makes no sense. Statistics can only be biased.

lol so false. calculators which are also computers have common mistakes due to age or heat. and surveys are only one region of statistics. for example a coin which 99% of people say is a 50-50 chance. Though one side of the coin is heavier than the other(heads. thats why most people say go with tails). Even though the chances of tails would be somewhere around 50.0001

"age or heat." it wasn't the electronic that was responsible for it. it was outside occurences that did. such as too much sunlight on a phone causing it to overheat, or a extremely old phone which battery is faultly when recharging

mistake: an action or judgment that is misguided or wrong. correct me if im wrong, but can't really only living things with thought processes make mistakes? electronics and computers are following what they are coded to do.

that saying is only used when it comes between man vs nature. I really don't see your logic as to you are getting theoretical because you are losing. There is no way to prove that something not living can not make mistakes. Science isn't based on facts but on theories.

nonliving things cannot make judgement. mistakes come from misjudgement.
