Basically I could have bought an iPod but I chose to spend my money on CDs instead. Now I want to know if you guys prefer having music on a device or CDs and why :-)

I prefer CD's. I don't really know why.

it's more rewarding to have an actual physical collection of music, but digital devices are way more convenient

I like CDs but since I don't have a mansion to put all my discs in, devices are way more convenient. Plus you can't take fifteen CDs and a stereo to school.

Device, although i do enjoy owning physical copies so sometimes for favorite albums ill buy records as they have a much more pleasing aesthetic than CDs in my eyes

Also I find a song on youtube. Convert it to MP3, download it and put my 3DS SD card in my SD card reader. Then I open files. I click and drag the song that I downloaded and copy it into my SD card. I go into Nintendo song and press SD card. Then I listen to the song(s) I downloaded and transferred.

I personally don't care, as long as I can listen to the music I want to listen to at the time. I buy cd's mostly, my most recent purchase was Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction 2004 remastered edition, because, it's kinda hard to hear Megadeth on the radio

A device is easiliar portable and carried around where ever you go and it's availible at any moment, (If you have Spotify, because that's what I use to play music.) Long story short, device is portable.

If it's songs that need to be paid for, I get CDs. If it's free stuff like indie music that free to download, game remixes from Overclocked, or a CD soundtrack that I listen to a lot, I put it on my iphone.
