flopping in soccer actually isn't very common. also, you can't tell me players don't embellish hits in hockey to draw penalties.
any sport w/ contact has people who flop/embellish, soccer is just more infamous for it because there's wayyyyy more soccer players and wayyyyy more leagues.

@Death, sure everyone tries to embellish an injury here and their but if you compared a Hockey game to a soccer game most likely your going to see someone faking an injury in the soccer game. I honestly feel like people fake injuries in soccer too much or the other guys in leagues like the NHL are better actors. |

soccer players use the fact that it hurts so much to their advantage, just like hockey players getting hit add that little extra to the brutality of a hit to make it look worse.
every single professional sport w/ contact has people who embellish or fake pain to get a call to their advantage, don't act like soccer is the worst at it.
soccer's only heavily criticized for it because of the massive amount of players making it look bad, not because they have the highest amount of players who embellish per # of players.
also your links are literally once-in-a-season events, not things that happen every game.

Hockey players embellish for penalties. I have never witnessed a hockey player embellishing an injury and it probably happens rarely. Once hockey players get an injury that can be taken care of during the game, they will get back in the game. |
