As a lot of you know, there's a new site layout incoming. Some people are excited for it, some people don't want it at all. I've seen previews of it, and honestly, I'm not too fond of it either.
It's not just fear of change, I just find it hard to power through that new layout, and I'm also not much of a fan of material design. I just want to be able to stick with this layout. Sure, the newer one might be trying to be more user friendly, but it'd probably be much easier to power through this one without having to go through fancy transitions and buttons.
What I ask for is an option to be able to switch between this layout and the new one once it launches. I know some people will say it's tough to be able to support two site themes, but I don't believe there's much to do. The most you'd have to do is simply add new features to this current layout, like you've done with friends and followers, VIP servers, and the social stuff on peoples' profiles. In fact, you can even stop supporting this current layout, as long as it's available to use.
I'm sure this would please the entire community, and it's not too farfetched as there used to be an option to change site themes in the past. (Although the excuse there was that they were reskins, not layout changes.) Either way, I ask you to consider this Roblox, and even if you're for the upcoming layout, consider supporting so not everyone gets into a riot once the change rolls out. There's not many cons to it. Especially if you just tuck it away and never update it again to focus on the newer one.
TL;DR: Site layout change is coming, please give us an option to switch back to this one once the change rolls out. |

By the way, these recent updates (home page and place page) are all part of the new layout. Use those as an example of what's to come. |

I agree.
The new layouts for the pages they HAVE changed are just terrible.
Everything is way bigger than it needs to be, forcing you to scroll halfway down the page just to find something that used to be immediately visible. |

@pre Hopefully, this shouldn't be too big of a deal to implement, especially if they stop supporting the layout but keep it available for other purposes. |

@evil They're all inaccessible now, but the only previews were the profile and place pages, anyway. We've already seen the place page, but it got reverted (fortunately). |
