why did i think that just because they made the playoffs, only to unceremoniously lose to the nets after many bad games, including one where they allowed the nets to score 40 points in the 4th quarter (but we won!!!!!), they would come back stronger and better
why did i think that this wasn't the dumbest fanbase in the league. one who blames the refs for everything because they can't stand to fathom the idea that the raptors are bad, as if they've never learned anything from the illustrious 20 year history of the team (hint it's bad)
why did i think that this fanbase would accept vince carter back. it was clear to a nine year old that the franchise screwed him over, not him screwing the franchise
