College lasts for up to 12 years depending on how much time and money and dedication you have. It doesn't have to be consecutive and it's after high school. And then there's trade schools where you spend like 2 years to get certified. Does it really not work this way in Australia?

College in Australia looks like it's the equivalent of a private/charter high school. Man, this is confusing.

The educational system in UK-linked countries are much different from the education system of the United States. "College" in the US is equivalent to university-level education in the UK.

in Australia there is basically no college -preschool/kindergarten -year 1-7 or year 1-8 depending on state (primary school) -year 7-12 or year 8-12 depending on state (high school) idk -uni I guess
