i still don't like rock, just metal. rock is either too cheesy or too boring.
and even in metal i don't like all the genres. the oldest album i have is from 1994 (machine head - burn my eyes) if it gives an idea of what i mean. i don't like the old style of metal with screechy voices. i don't care about technical skill or any of that, they could have guitars that only play one note over and over again but if they manage to make it sound good then i don't care.
i'm all about melodic death metal right now. as far as other genres, i like a few metalcore bands but not the entire genre, as there is a serious lack of creativity. i'm not too into thrash outside of machine head, and power metal i'm not against but i don't care too much about. i like the big name deathcore bands but don't bother checking out any smaller names. favorite bands are soilwork, arch enemy, machine head, trvium, and bring me the horizon. and i'm pretty sure every metal elitist that has read this post just had an aneurysm when i mentioned bmth. favorite song is prob "vultures" by arch enemy, favorite album "natural born chaos" by soilwork.

i'm not renewing my spotify subscription
the new update was simply horrible
didn't add any features, just literally only took away features
no ctrl + f
no typing the first letter and being brought to the first song of that letter
no more personal top lists
no more apps (though this was known to be coming for months)
the interface has so much wasted space now
and everything is super laggy, as in taking 2-3 seconds to actually do things.
this new update is horrible, i'm moving to google play when my sub runes out |
