A lot of people are getting tired of this.
There is a large amount of spam in the comment section.
There isn't any easy way to reduce this, but I've come up with a slightly working system:
A "flag as spam" button beside the "Report Abuse" button
When clicked, this gives a flag to the comment.
After a certain number of flags, probably 3 or 5, the comment is flagged as spam.
This does not delete the comment, and everyone can still see it.
However, users could disable comments marked as spam in their account settings, meaning that they would not be able to see flagged comments. A similar thing to this is the spoilers in TVTropes, which allows you to turn off spoilers being hidden.
What this could do:
There are several things.
Certain players do not like to view spam comments, and would like to see reviews of the gears. By seeing this, it could promote the purchase of gears, earning ROBLOX money. |
