The fact that you buy games at launch just makes me cringe.
Buying games at launch is the second most stupid thing you could do, next to pre-ordering. |

you seem to have a very cynical outlook on games
not all of them have a bad launch, controversial payment programs or are just bad games in general
from the beta I played, the Youtubers reviews and their guides it seems like a very solid game, and most people seem to think so... aside from the usual "IT'S NOT BATTOLFEILD!" part of the fanbase you get with every franchise when it changes its style (hell, it's not even doing that, it's a damn spinoff and it's better than the main franchise, again, [lookin at you bad company]) |

There's a key differance between hype and overhype.
The problem comes when you begin to expect more than what they're capable of giving you.
Just go into it with realistic expectations of what you're going to get out of it.

I didn't mind Watch dogs, In fact it was one of my Game of the year, (nothing good came out in 2014, some did, but they were removed by the terrible news) Destiny, I knew would fail as soon as I saw the news about it, And it did 6/10.
I usually never buy at launch, I wait and see what the reviews are.
The only game I want to pre order is Witcher 3, I know it will be good cause cdprojekt red is making it.
The only game I pre purchased on steam was cities Skyline. It was a right move. |

i bought BFH at launch and i was pleased for the most part except that there is like 2 carbines and 4 pistols most of the guns are split up for medic/engineer/recon/support and split again for cops/robbers custom classes are also useless
but
there is a LOT of dead space easter eggs. YES! |
