Ever wanted to play Roblox longer that your parents let you? Ever wanted to stay up late with people from around the globe in your favorite MMO game other than Minecraft? Ever get grounded and still want to play online with your un-grounded friends? If you said yes (or even if you said no) to any of these questions then this post is for you!
Step 1: Don't be suspicious: What I mean by this is to not move anything around into unusual spots as this will create suspicion. Also, DO NOT act excited to go to bed! This is a huge give-away to parents because really, who wants to go to bed (other than other teenagers and myself).
Step 2: Wait for your parents to fall asleep
Step 3: Set up your device: Tablets and phones are good for after-bedtime gaming, but small computers will work too. If, however, you have a bulky brick of a computer, then I would not recommend using it, try to find something else. If your unsuccessful then you should really wait.
Step 4: MAKE SURE YOUR VOLUME IS OFF!: Worst thing that could happen is that your phone "randomly" sings Anaconda in the middle of the night!
Step 5: DON'T hide your device under the covers!: This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. Unless you have really thick covers your device's screen will shine through, revealing your actions and preventing your all-nighter. Another reason is that it prevents you from hearing your surrounding such as approaching parents. (And P.S. it's really uncomfortable). I would recommend reviewing Step 1.
Step 6-A: Escape: If you hear ANY noise shut down the game immediately! It could be a false alarm and you may loose your kill streak for nothing, but it's better to be safe then sorry if you get caught!
Step 6-B: Escape: If you make noise, GO WITH IT! If you squeak your bed trying to get 'back-in', roll around and make more squeaks, act as if your having a nightmare. If you talk in your sleep, talk, murmur, ramble, what ever you need to do!
Step 7: Morning: If your parents ask why you're tired say you couldn't sleep or had a rough night (the fake nightmare helps here). *Note that the best nights to game are Sunday's ('cause of school since your usually tired), Fridays, and Saturdays ('cause you can sleep in!).
Step 8: DON'T GET CAUGHT: Think fast if you do, because you're on your own here! Good luck, happy gaming, and I'll see you at midnight!
