It runs a loop that crashes the Roblox client. It cannot cause any harm to your computer unless; A. Your computer is very poor/old B. Roblox has a way higher priority than it should Plus, crash is just a user-made command and can be replaced by any one of the dozens of other methods to crash a client.

I have an old computer that still has Windows XP, but I can't use it because in 2012 a hacker used :crash on a "What am I drawing?" server.

Sounds like your having an ID 10.T error problem there. Best way to crash people is by inserting a a thousand parts with flame, smoke, and sparkles where a persons camera is with explosions. My friend claimed it gave him a blue screen of death over a graphics card crash. :3
