This would be a good idea. What it does is, it hides the guis,toolbar, name, nametags, texts (not the SurfaceText.) and others. It would be helpful for making videos, and the creator of the game can set which gui, text, nametag etc can be hidden and can not be hidden by the player who has the Cinematic Mode on.

This is scriptable, but every game should still have this, support
Although ROBLOX is getting better at this, as you can hide the player list now.
I think Juggernaut is one of those games that has that option, it's really good for recording

Full support.
I like your back-up detail as having this help with videos. That'd be the prime example of what this is for.
Even if scriptable, not everybody is a scripter and there's not always a free script out there that'd do this. It's better to have a concrete implementation of this that doesn't break like an old script.

Scriptable for a game. Make it yourself no need for a whole thing.
C&G the moment you realize you shouldn't have clicked that link. |

@Arch It needs to have this in other games too. It's not like you own every game, and not like there's always a free model of this, not many users know how to script. |

Support. This would be also useful for unupdates places with GUIs designed for the old UIs or games of which the creator forgot the chat GUI exists (this is surprisingly common recently). And yes, hiding core GUIs can be scripted in your own game by putting this line in a LocalScript in StarterGui:
game.StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.All, false) |

it would be a pain for a normal person to script this. i mean you could have a free-model,
but it's just easier to put it in all games. |

Honestly, while I like the idea, I can't really say that I support it. I'd rather have the CoreGui set to false (that's playerlist, chat, health, yadayadayada), then have THIN letterboxing or another kind of cropping guide that leaves some essential things visible (eg menu), but outside the expected video editing area.
This is a very easy to implement gui button script. |

You could simply code a plugin/gui for this.
It would be REALLY easy.
--assume you had an image button of a movie icon;
local CinematicButton = Gui:WaitForChild("CinematicButton")
local CinematicEnabled = false
local function CinematicMode()
local CinematicEnabled = not CinematicEnabled
game.StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled("All", CinematicEnabled)
end
CinematicButton.InputBegan:connect(function(inputObj)
if inputObj.UserInputState.Name == "Begin" then
CinematicMode()
end
end)
simple

Total support, everyone says "scriptable", but do you expect every dev to add this? No, so it should be implemented. It would encourage user made videos, and creativity. |

@Syref That's what i mean! |
