Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe "math" refers to a style of arranging notes, which has no effect on sound, but rather the order that those sounds are played. In other words, you could be a Metalcore band that takes a math appproach to writing songs. When classifiy based on sound, which is what you should do, you would be classified as Metalcore rather than mathcore.

@tested ADTR are easycore, mainly they're one of my fave bands, my siggy is an ADTR lyric @over KE are an honourable mention i'm usually more into chugs than early-2000s metalcore riffs "disrespect your surroundings."

ah i love 2000's metalcore so much less emo, less obnoxious breakdowns (nothing kills the pace of a song faster than a weak breakdown), more metal-ey and very close to melodeath (my favorite genre) in sound i found chimaira yesterday and i have been playing them nonstop, their breakdowns have actual intensity (as in, you can appreciate them through headphones) and the atmosphere they create is amazing
