I've seen MANY idea for birthday gifts, and there have been many arguments against it. Let's debug it. The day that you get said gift will be on the month and day that you made your account. Anybody can change their birthday that they set on the site, but they can't change the date they joined. The gift will be awarded not when the person joins, but only until a year has passed on that date. To prevent inflation, the gift will be: -A new site theme with confetti, etc, for 24 hours for that person. -A small hat, which would change yearly. The gifted hat wouldn't be any sort of limited, but it would be a hat that is offsale and awarded to users for 1 year+ on the date they joined the site. To prevent millions of hats given to inactive accounts, the user must have been browsing the site and logged on in 3 months. Otherwise, they will be deemed as 'inactive' for that year and will not recieve the birthday award. What do you think?

I need to put one of the statements in different words. When I said, 'the user must have been browsing the site and logged on in 3 months,' I meant that they must have logged on at least 3 months before that date. Let's give an example, if my birthday was the fifth month, I would have had to have logged on in the second month or after to recieve the award.
