Instead of just one giant light source, why don't we take a page from Unreal Tournament?
In the editor for that game, you must place in lights in an unlit mode. Then, you go to Lit mode, review your work and make any necessary adjustments. It can also change colour with an RGB spectrum and you can also change the brightness and strength of the light. I think this is what we should use |

Lame is it? Epic Games doesn't seem to think so, considering they have brought out about 10 games that use the same lighting system, including Gears of War. Not to mention the huge UnrealEd fanbase that don't have a single complaint about the lighting system. I mean, how hard can it be to put a light in mid-air and see if it works well with your level? |
