I'd like to get some experience now mainly because people say you should get as much experience in as you can. Any recommendations? I'm just looking for a summer job, by the way.

Depends what you want to do in the future. If you want to be a car salesman, then Wendy's experience wouldn't be helpful.

Ask your local library if you can work at the computer lab to help struggling people. Work at any electronical store (Best Buy, Radio Shack). Highschools sometimes hire their own students over the summer.
