I am aware it was from hardcore punk. Tbh hardcore punk was just part of original punk rock so I was right in the first place. |

I don't know much about post-hardcore, but I've heard that older post-hardcore like Steve Albini's Shellac is 20x better than modern "post-hardcore" bands like Sleeping with Sirens and Pierce the Veil, although I do enjoy a couple of Pierce the Veil, but only on occasion |
