honestly i'm pretty sure if all of you listened to every song that cracked/was already in the top 40 on the hot 100 this year, you're going to hear songs that you like. I am a pretty dragon.

So true, the radio has some catchy tunes, and annoying ones, but chandelier, ghost, say something, clarity, let go for tonight, titanium, dark horse, wide awake, and such are really catchy and enjoyable imo

I can't stand any modern pop, most of it shows no real emotion or opinion, and the few songs that do sugarcoat everything, and it's all watered down, trend following, commercialized garbage, I mean Lorde is classified as indie pop, last time I checked to be indie pop you had to be on an independent label, she is on a major label, therefore not indie pop.

a lot of the stuff on the radio is good like uptown funk for example i guess its the disco feels

I don't like disco, or pop, I like aggressive music, like old hardcore rap and heavy metal, not only because hardcore rap is actually intelligent and most heavy metal is good music and I genuinely like the styles, but I also have anger issues, so I take out my anger peacefully by listening to old rap and metal, but mostly metal.

"it is how overplayed they are." but it's easy for them to become overplayed because they're all gimmicky and formulaic pop music is literally a meme

Barely, if ever, listen to the radio So I have no idea what's played anymore I'll just be sitting at my computer, playing Gorrilaz and The Shins "The one downside to being shot with guns is that you die." ~ Star_

Radio pop is p bad. I still don't have the impression of "thought & care" when it comes to pop music. Maybe some I like, but they aren't in the top 40. It's too plastic and unnatural for me. Sorry.

there's definitely good stuff in there but i really don't feel like slogging through all the garbage with less mainstream artists you can see who they were inspired by and who they recommend, so you find music more relevant to your interests

Sia is pretty great, but my favorite pop artist is foxes voice wise. Or Ella Henderson
