I need to go to sleep, but I think in goin insane. For the past few days, I've hearing noises during the night, and see tall figures that walk slowly in black clothing moving trough the halls, and I'm terrified to go to sleep. It might be because of a lack of sleep, but
either way I just can't sleep. |

They're not real. Just do what I do; form a concrete argument giving multiple reasons they're nonexistent, curl up in the covers facing away from the problem area, and think about the last time you did something enjoyable and fall asleep with that thought in your head.

I deal with occult entities all the time, first thing is to spread salt at your doorstep, windows and closets. This will prevent most occult entities, however buy a cross and some holy water in case any do manage to get in. |

Iron shavings mixed in with the salt is more effective. I would also recommend a silver chain, for binding witches and lamias. Setting traps along your local lay lines is also a good anti-boggart precaution. A staff of rowan is also good against witches and lamias, and if you dig a stream around your homestead and the water is flowing witches won't be able to cross it. Finally, if you laden the water with salt, water witches and other wetlands entities won't be able to cross either. And you can use good ol' negotiation to deal with ghosts and ghasts.

Someone tried last night. He was chased away by eleven cops and my parents before I could even walk to my bedroom door. That's actually why there are cameras in my house, not my own paranoia - But I won't argue with the placement of the cameras. |
