Please allow us to delete messages

It's really annoying, I don't want to "archive" them or leave them in my inbox. I only archive the really important messages I get, and personally I think it would be better if we were able to delete messages. Is there a reason why we can't delete them?

Sadly, missus president. We cannot delete your IMPORTANT messages althought we do know THEY'RE POWERFUL ENOUGH TO TRIGGER SOMETHING WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE END OF THE WORLD.
