Mettenberger played great last season. Not to mention he was behind a horrible O-line and the recievers are inconsistent. Mettenberger deserves a chance to prove himself. We gave Locker 3 years. Mettenberger deserves a year. If that doesn't work out then we can draft Cardale Jones or Conner Cook next year. Instead of drafting a QB we can get someone good on defense in the draft (Leonard Williams, Bud Dupree, or Dante Flower) If this works out we will have found a QB, someone who can help our defense and get someone like Ronnie Stanley or Eddie Jackson next year. It is worth noting that Tennessee doesn't have a reliable backup but we can find someone in this draft like Sean Mannion. Butch Jones is the real Messiah

The media will watch his every move just like Tebow, Manziel, and players like that. If he makes 1 small mistake the media will explode Mariota is a system quarterback. Mettenberger deserves a year to prove himself if he doesn't work then their are a couple amazing qbs next year. Butch Jones is the real Messiah

lets just say that if he could have come out this year, he would have been rated as either the 3rd or 4th best QB in this years draft and is supposedly one of the best qb draft prospects for next year (if he comes out)
