The first race of the season goes to PhilCoke! HUGE upset from PhilCoke's turtle! The race began as any normal turtle race would. Turtles crawling around, pretty slowly, just chillin. Fans were rowdy. Packed house. and then something crazy happened... PhilCoke must have been working with his turtle, because my god was that thing quick! (piss test??) It SHOT off the line, and blew away the competition. Dannygopher's turtle was also quite speedy, and even stole first from PhilCoke at one point, but then decided to turn around and go the opposite way for some odd reason. I think the roaring crowd could have spooked it. Maybe try training your turtle in a loud atmosphere, next time. In 3rd (out of 20) was drbat's turtle. It nearly didn't finish, when it turned around and went backwards at the finish line. His turtle must have had a change of heart though, because right at the last moment, it hopped in the air (crazy ass turtle) and kicked it into 5th gear. Straight up ZOOMED across the line. Turtle race #2 will commence in about a half hour! The course has been edited to be longer and have obstacles. Step your game up, turtles. B)

Race number 2 took place just moments ago, and boy was it a crazy one! We were all on the edge of our metaphorical seats! The race started out with the same 20 turtles as the first race, but that doesn't mean everything was the same. In fact, there were some MAJOR changes! The course was extended in length and width, and even obstacles were added! It sure made things interesting. LETS BREAK IT DOWN!!!! PhilCoke's turtle kicked off the race with another INSANE start. It launched off the line, avoided the first 2 obstacles with no trouble at all, jumped over a wall, and then ran right into the newly added rocks. It then proceeded to get stuck. After wiggling its way out of the rocks, still with a rather large lead, turned around and started going the opposite way. AnimatedDannyo's turtle would then snake past all the obstacles INCLUDING the rocks, and came extremely close to the finish line to take first, before jumping sideways, getting stuck on the wall, and then going backwards. Ebenton's turtle would then capitalize on all the backwards and confused turtles. It zoomed past the rocks, and jumped right over the line to take first! Viking's turtle came in 2nd, not too far behind Ebenton. The intensity was turned up by 1,000 when the battle for 3rd started. Multiple turtles got their noses on the finish line, but just couldn't muster up enough energy to keep pushing across the line. Privatezack's turtle did though! After getting psyched out multiple times, it would finally take 3rd over the 4-5 other turtles fighting for the podium at the line.
