Or write music. Cause I've had the same tune in my head for years. And I'd like to get it on paper.
I play the trumpet, and I'm pretty decent at it. I can hit altisimo notes, which are notes higher than high C.
Any way, just thought I would get it out there that I'm a band geek. |

Join the club.
I tried writing some trumpet music once, but it's harder than you'd expect.
Possible, yes, but not easy by a long shot.
My songs were always better sung, anyways. |

I don't experience this because I'm a percussionist:
Keyboard percussion:
Marimba
Xylophone
Bells
Vibraphone
Chimes
Drums:
Snare Drum
Bass Drum
Toms
Tenor Drum(I'm in middle school so I only play this like once a year)
Auxiliary(Basically a better version of the toys)
Tympani
:So I don't experience this. |

My music teacher has to transcript music notes into numbers so I can understand them. |

"transcript music notes into numbers so I can understand them."
...Wouldn't it just be easier to learn how to read REAL music? |
Hmmm, o I'm guessing you not in band pawz. |

This isn't my first time learning an instrument, I have a hard time reading the music. And since I can't, he writes it out in a way I can understand. |

I used to be in band and orchestra. |
My friend has to learn to play clarinet so he can be in an orchestra, because orchestras usually don't accept saxophones. |
I don't get it. What's so hard that you can't understand it? |

It just doesn't click, despite my efforts.
And yea, I played clarinet to so I could do sax. Didn't make it that far. Before the clarinet, I did violin. |

Some people aren't as musically inclined than others, so music notes might be harder to understand.
I could understand why numbers would be easier to learn. I kind of have a bit of the same problem in that regard. |

Music is in my family, Almost everyone in my family plays an instrument. My dad's a drummer, my cousin is a drummer, My mom is an pianist, my cousin is a flutist(I'm pretty sure that's right, Idk if it's flutist or floutist), my brother is trying to learn guitar an piano, my other brother starts guitar class next year, my little sister wants to be in choir, my grandpa plays guitar and piano, my grandma plays bass guitar, My aunt is a pianist, and I'm a percussionist and a bass guitarist. |
I have a slightly hard time reading musical notes, but I'm good enough to pass on the guitar. I find reading tablature a lot easier. |
I have to read three of the five clefs. |
Wait, five?
What is there besides treble and base? |
I'm lucky I only have to know one of them. |

The best notes are made by a tennis racket hitting a tennis ball.
Haters gonna hate. |
Treble
Bass
Percussion
The ones I don't read are
Tenor
(I can't remember the fifth but it's something like alto or something) |
Huh. Interesting.
Oh, yeah, and I remember a third clef that I'd forgotten about. Middle C. C clef. That's a thing. |
Middle c, that's it, that's what I was thinking of. |

I wish I could play an instrument...
Any suggestions on instruments that are nice and easy to learn? |
French horn's a piece of cake.
Well, as easy as it gets, I suppose.
I've heard trumpet's easier.
I've heard a lot of things. |
Whatever bit is, don't play flute, I had to listen to them start out. |
