Never thought I'd say this about any company but I think that's the best thing for roblox.
They seriously need a new direction when it comes to how they interact with their player base and how they update as they've pretty much proven over the past few years that they in fact, don't listen to what we ask and on top of that don't really care about what their user-base dislikes, and I think that being bought out by a different company will really help this issue as long as the company is involved with roblox's growth and decisions. |

to be honest i like the direction roblox is headed. true its no longer as it once was and is not so block-like anymore. but i loved that they are trying to give people more resources for us to use to make our games. besides its not them that changes the games its the player's who decides to make the type of games. |

The more resources to make games is cool, yes, and I will credit them for opening doors for some awesome and more detailed games which I like, but it's their ignoring of paying and potential customers, pushy business moves to push people into buying bc, horrid customer service and mod staff, and their refusal to listen to their community about truly unpopular events that really gives me a bad taste about this game.
Also, no, sorry but roblox is a growing, profitable company.
Yes, they have bills, but they are no where close to hurting once their expenses are payed and I really, REALLY dislike this defense people keep shoving onto a really profitable company. Sorry, but roblox is no Yik Yak. They're making some good money here. |

Roblox would probably be ruined, usually when big companies buy out other little/medium ones, they want to make all the money they just spent back, and that results in really bad things.
Like EA buying Maxis caused Simcity to become really bad. |

Insinuating that roblox isn't already down the crapper with slower catalog updates, unpopular updates, bad business model, bad customer service, and a refusal to listen to paying customers.

Forgot to mention their crappy way of doing updates.
Can't tell you how many times they announce a really cool update only to never actually follow up on it.
All of these things are problems that will likely be fixed under another company. |

Again, taking my arguement and turning it into something COMPLETELY different than what I am saying.
Please copy and paste where I am saying I want ALL of my demands being met. Please do. The issue here is that they are producing very little to none of what their paying customers ask of the company and instead insist on updates that no one is asking for and that have little support. |

ROBLOX is currently the only company who will ever help improve this game for the better, if another company buys it out, it would fall futher down hill.

I honestly haven't done too much work into what company I'd like to oversee things but I'd definitely want one more reliable than the company we have running things now, as out of all the games I play and have played, Roblox is easily among the most frustrating to deal with due to many aspects including crap customer service and an inability to listen to customers among many other things that I covered earlier.
But if I were to pick a fantasy company(Even though this will never in a million years ever happen) I think Valve would be a good company to run things as they have done an excellent job with Steam and are willing to sacrifice a little profit here and there for the benefit of the long term and to appease their paying customers.
Again, that's a fantasy company that I am well aware will never show any interest in roblox, so don't take that suggestion too seriously. |

Price floor, ad skewing, NBC shirt removal. None of those really strike you as wrong? Wow.
Also, as for the customer service, have you ever dealt with them? I have, and let me tell you, if money ever comes into the picture, such as a lost account or items, or mischarges on cars, they will try to find EVERY little excuse to not return such things to you in an attempt to make you spend more money to have stolen items returned to you.

I've had experience with money issues here on ROBLOX, and I haven't been hassled. They were nice in the e-mails, and refunded me.
I don't mind the price floor at all. Just because you can't afford it isn't their problem. Companies make money, it's what they do. It's the whole reason most people created comapnies. Them raising the price floors was a smart business tactic on their part. It increased the amount of people buying robux, or BC.
I don't even know what ad skewing you're talking about.
NBC shirt creation was becoming an issue. A lot of non-bc'ers were stealing clothing made by other users. They didn't give NBC'ers the availability to create shirts for a reason.
No none of these updates strike me as wrong, it's seems like a personal problem.

Yep, and they listened to their customers. A lot of BC'ers were complaining that NBC were still able to upload clothing, esepcially due to the NBC Creator group.
They fixed their problem, now other people are mad.

You know if a company buys roblox it doesn't mean that they get to completely control what goes on, like how Microsoft bought out Mojang but you don't see Minecraft being changed in anyway. Or Lego Universe whereas it just got cancelled.
