When trying to download roblox player, it says to click launch application on above dialog box. There is no dialog shown? Help please :D

OMG. There was a red notification bar for like 2 weeks saying "joining games will look a little different for chrome users" ROBLOX even sent you a notification in your PM's. Why did you not click it? I could not find the blog post describing how to fix it, so you are on your own.
