Metal band suggestions?

Currently I only listen to Of Mice & Men and The Amity Affliction who are metalcore and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk who are an easycore band, but I want to try different metal sub-genres. (I would add BMTH to the list however their recent album was post-hardcore).

How about Symphonic Metal? I'd suggest Within Temptation.

@DraggedIntoSunlight I'm not picky with genres, but I have a preference for fast-paced songs, or something like that. I'll listen to any suggestions, really.
