Roblox. Admins. Moderators and players alike, you must hear me.
Remember a time when shirts could be sold for any price? We were happy.
Remember a time when noobs didn't look like they do now? We were happy.
Remember a time when the default face become a buyable face? We were happy.
These are all things that happened to ROBLOX that have discouraged people from joining. These things need compromising- there must be an update.
Hear me out. |

1) Price Floor - This was implemented because the market made it impossible for clothing makers to actually earn a profit. Why buy a shirt for 5 robux and 50 tix when you could find a copy for just 5 tix? And to actually compete and earn money, you'd be earning close to 1 tix or 1 robux profit. The price floor is good; it thinks about both sides instead of just one.
2) Default Look Change - I agreed with this earlier.
3) Default Face - I hate you so much. Shut up about the god damn face. It's the same face, but it fixes a lot of the problems; it makes the smile more natural, it fixes the topological bugs of the first one, and it fixes the AWFUL anti-aliasing. The first face was made by builderman in MS Paint. |

"Remember a time when shirts could be sold for any price? We were happy."
um, you still wouldn't be happy now even if they could be sold for any price because ROBLOX would become practically worthless and people would start selling clothes for higher prices anyways (people who are trying to sell clothes for profit)
Halt, Tropfen und explodieren. |

"More Natural"
ROBLOXians aren't humans, they're not meant to be natural. |

UGH. Let me rephrase the original post...
Dear Everyone In The Roblox Team, listen to the players. |

"Remember a time when shirts could be sold for any price? We were happy."
I'll assume that 'we' refers to an unspecific group of people who share your opinion. People that disagree don't actually exist, and therefore anyone disagreeing can safely be erased from your mind. For example, people that wanted to actually make a reasonable profit comparable to that of people who built places by, say, increasing the price of whatever they wanted to sell to 100, without suffering from the issue of people blatantly nicking said clothes and putting them on sale for next to nothing, can be ignored because they don't think what you think.
"Remember a time when noobs didn't look like they do now? We were happy."
People who buy BC obviously don't count.
"Remember a time when the default face become a buyable face? We were happy."
I personally still consider the difference between default A and default B negligible, but whatever. Also, it has been on sale?
"These are all things that happened to ROBLOX that have discouraged people from joining."
The first and second one? Maybe. I expect there is more to roblox than just virtual clothing but sure, I can understand it. The third? Not only is it a petty reason, it also requires the people that are joining to be aware of the whole default face business.

Lol, "listen to the players"?
Are you serious?
Please tell me if you're serious. I can list off, right now, over 20 major things ROBLOX has listened to us about and done for us. Maybe closer to 50!
How many can you list off? |
|
|

Well, for starters, they haven't listened about that the Pal Hair is for free for noobs, and 90 Robux for us older users! Now, just don't let this place become a flamewar-zone. |

"Dear Everyone In The Roblox Team, listen to the players."
Once again, someone makes the mistake of interchanging 'listen' with 'obey us if we shout hard enough'. |

...note to self: make my forum posts unreplyable unless it's not about my opinions, ideas, and so on, as people will be idiots and not constructively criticize. |

double post, wow
...again, note to self: at least some people constructively criticize. |
