If Arlington or Houston hosts and Peru is playing there, I'm actually going to drive myself over there for a match lol |
|
|
I actually think Houston will beat out Arlington but I'll go to either if Peru is playing |

Looking at all these stadiums that can host it and looking back on FIFA WC voting, it makes literally zero sense that USA didn't win their bid and it instead went to a country who literally has to build most of the stadiums from scratch and make them literally more useless than the Montreal Olympic Stadium after they're done using them.
Until you realize the fact that FIFA is corrupt as hell and loves to force countries to build everything just so they get money, despite being "non-profit". |

@Cap
If AFC had to host the 2022 World Cup, Australia should've at least got it...
Qatar's World Cup is such a freaking fail that they are going to have a stadium shaped like a p55y and they have to build a freaking new city just for a massive stadium to host the opening match/final |

They already have bids for Landover, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa |

@JH
Copa America isn't a large tournament, only 16 teams will play, not a full 32 like the World Cup. That means there will be a need for less host cities, and since a World Cup generally has about 12-14 host cities, there should be 6-8 host cities for the Copa America, and I'd say NYC/East Rutherford, Houston, Los Angeles/Pasadena, Chicago, Dallas/Arlington, Atlanta, Washington/Landover, Boston/Foxborough, Seattle, and Denver are more deserving |

IMO Orlando will get it because of a large Latinoamerican market in Florida, but maybe that's just me. |
