Or better yet, why not have Antti Raanta in net? He's the actual best goalie the Hawks have.
It took you until the playoffs in 2010 to find out that Antti Niemi was FAR better than Cristobal Huet too so you should really consider it. |

Raanta was extremely mediocre in the chances we gave him.
There's a reason he's not even in the lineup. |

Crawford is not a good goalie. He is extremely overrated because he won a cup. He plays behind the league's best defensive core, and still isn't good.

Raanta outperformed Darling (and Crawford too for that matter) in the regular season with a 1.89 GAA and 93.6 Save% though so I don't understand why you're using being "extremely mediocre" as a reason to not have him in the lineup when he was 3rd in the league for both of those. |

I'm not even being biased here for once. He's legitimately the best goalie on the Blackhawks and you're obviously not looking hard enough if you think otherwise.
Keep in mind that he outperformed Price and Rinne this season too. |

A good playoff run two years ago doesn't determine whether or not he is a good goalie. He may have played well then, but other than that he has been a mediocre goalie playing behind a good defense. |

I'm not saying that Crawford is total garbage, he's a decent goalie, but he shouldn't even be considered top 10. He's very overrated.
