My idea, though unlikely, I still feel would be well used. Some of you might know that in-game audio seems to becoming increasingly popular with some people allowing game-pass purchases to listen to audio in-game. However, we still have the 2 minute limit on audio to prevent full songs being played.
This is where I believe a change is needed. I'd love for it to be possible to listen to full songs in-game, without the need for two audio files etc. Spotify, a music streaming service, has an extremely large music library; on PC, it is also free.
Now, here's where the problem is. If I could get support on this idea, there is a chance ROBLOX would see what they could do. My idea is that, like VIP servers, a game has a checkbox for "Allow Spotify Streaming". If it is checked, a piece of gear will be added when the player joins the game. If the gear is opened, a GUI with the Spotify theme will open and allow the player to choose songs and choose to play local (only so the player can hear) or outloud (so all players could hear).
Spotify and ROBLOX would have to come to some agreement for this idea to work. It may be a monthly cost, it could be a one-off. Either way, if we can get support on this idea ROBLOX could look into it and try and reach some deal with Spotify.
