-- THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMERICA -- WE THE PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMERICA, in order to form a government that will function both as a Democracy and a Republic, We must provide justice, peace, and tranquility to all people. May God protect our dear nation, may Freedom reign in every corner of our Nation, and may we stay this way forever, and let nothing take it away, as we establish this constitution for the Great Republic of America. Whenever the term “Founding Council” is used in this document, it refers to the three assistant founders and the one original founder that make up the Founding Council. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ARTICLE I: Section 1: The Congress of the Republic of America will represent the citizens of the Republic. Congress shall consist of two main chambers, the Senate and the House of Representatives. Section 2: The Senate of the Republic of America shall be composed of 15 Senators. The Senate shall be the first chamber of Congress to approve of a bill, act, or Executive Order. The Senate shall hold the main power of Impeachment of a government official. The Senate must reach a 2/3+1 vote to Impeach. The Senate shall be led by the Speaker of the Senate, whose vote counts as one. In the case of an absence of a Senator and there is a tie in the vote, the President of the Senate’s vote shall count as two. Section 3: The House of Representatives of the Republic of America shall be composed of 20 Representatives. The House of Representatives shall be the second chamber of Congress to approve of a bill, act, or Executive Order. The House of Representatives shall hold the power to bypass a veto issued by the Founder. The House of Representatives must reach a 2/3 vote to bypass a veto. The House of Representatives shall be led by the Speaker of the House, whose vote counts as one. In the case of an absence of a Representative and there is a tie in the vote, the Speaker of the House’s vote shall count as two. ARTICLE II: Section 1: The Executive power of the Republic of America shall be held by the Founder, President, and Vice President. There shall be one President at a time, one Vice President at a time, and four members the Founding Council at one time. (Consists of 3 Assistant Founders and the original Founder) Section 2: The Founder of the Republic of America has the responsibility of ensuring basic rights to the people of the Republic and ensuring the Constitution is being followed. The Founder may pass an Executive Order dealing with anything except Impeachment. The Executive Order will last for two days without approval of Congress. The Founder may veto any bill or act passed by Congress. The Founder may pass a Nation of Emergency across the Nation if he feels necessary to do so. Section 3: The President has the power and responsibility of choosing a Chief Court Justice for the Supreme Court. He or she is responsible for holding meetings with the Speaker of the Senate, the Speaker of the House, and the Chief Court Justice. At a time when the Founder is on excused leave, is impeached, resigned, or assassinated, the Vice President will become President. Section 4: The Founding Council of the Republic of America shall choose Supreme Court Justices. The Founding Council will be the head of foreign relations other groups. The President will hold Impeachment trials when the President of the Senate is not present. ARTICLE III: Section 1: The Supreme Court of the Republic of America shall consist of eight Supreme Court Justices and one Chief Court Justice. After an impeachment trial of from the Senate, the Supreme Court must review the case. If they find it extremely biased, they will send the case back to the Senate. However, they cannot appeal an Impeachment a second time. Section 2: The Chief Court Justice of the Supreme Court has the powers and responsibilities listed for Supreme Court Justices, and also the power and responsibility of swearing in the President, Vice President, President of the Senate and Speaker of the House. Section 3: The Supreme Court Justices have the power and responsibility of approving a bill, act, or Executive Order passed by Congress to see if it’s Constitutional. They shall declare if a Citizen is not eligible to attend a session of the House of the People. ARTICLE IV: Section 1: All government terms are six months long. Elections will be held on the second Saturday of February and August. Section 2: All Justices in the Supreme Court will be chosen by the Founding Council on the second Saturday of January and the second Saturday of June. Section 3: All Executive Orders in effect will be removed the first Wednesday of February, June, and November. Section 4: All government officials will be demoted to Higher Class Citizen the Wednesday before the elections. Section 5: Every vote counts directly, there will be no Electoral College. All votes are to be sent via Private Message to TacticalEndeavor. All citizens have the right to run for office or vote as long as they are not a criminal or tourist. ARTICLE V: Section 1: If a petition is created and acquires 30+ signatures (this number may be amended in the future), an impeachment trial for a government official will be held in the House of Representatives. 1/2 of the people who signed the petition must be present at the trial. Section 2: If a petition is made and acquires 10+ signatures (this number may be amended in the future), the Senate will hold and impeachment trial for a government official. Section 3: If a petition is made and acquires 45+ Signatures (this number may be amended in the future), a government official will be automatically impeached. Section 4: An impeachment petition must include the name of the Robloxian in question, their current government position, why they should be impeached, additional crimes (if any), and whether it is a temporary, reduce in power, or permanent impeachment. Section 5: The Senate can call an impeachment trial at any time, with or without a petition. Section 6: If a Senator is to be impeached, it will be done so in the House of Representatives. Section 7: Without a petition, the Senate may only impeach two people (this number may be amended in the future) from each branch of government per term. Section 8: An impeached government official must wait a full term before he or she can run for office again. Section 9: Government officials may be impeached for being inactive, unless they are excused by the President. Section 10: A government official must be given a 2 day warning about their impeachment trial. It is not necessary, but strongly encouraged, for a government official to attend their impeachment trial. Section 11: If any member of the official TROA skype chat leaves the chat without permission and/or in a ragequit, their rank leaves with them. ARTICLE VI: Section 1: Every citizen is entitled to freedom of speech, religion, and expression, and to all Robloxian rights stated by ROBLOX. Section 2: Every citizen is allowed to protest against the government in any area of the Nation except inside the capitol building. Section 3: No citizen shall be denied a worship place for their religion. Section 4: No citizen shall be denied a weapon, unless they are currently or were a criminal on trial. For a past criminal on trial to legally obtain a weapon, they must have written permission (a forum) by a Court Justice. Section 5: A citizen may not be tried more than once for the same crime. Nor shall he or she be denied a lawyer in a court of law, nor shall they be forced to testify in court. Section 6: Extreme uses of freedom of speech or expression are not supported by the government, and a citizen may be charged for offence. Section 7: All citizens have the right to a seat in the House of the Representatives, and may not be forced out of a session of the House of the Representatives unless they are a tourist or criminal on trial. Section 8: No citizen may be plagued by slavery in the Republic of America, nor may any citizen own a slave. Section 9: Every citizen has the right to talk with a government official about concerns issues, or comments. Section 10: All citizens, may it be a tourist, middle class or high class citizen, or a criminal on trial, has the right to record and upload any video in or about the nation. Section 11: All citizens have the right to the usage or publication of media as they see fit as long as it does not violate any laws. Section 12: The use of the “:view [username]” command is strictly forbidden in the Republic of America. Section 13: No government official may take away these rights from a citizen of the Republic of America. Section 14: Your personal rights end when you violate someone else’s rights. ARTICLE VII: Section 1: The Republic of America shall not enter, merge, or move into a Republic, Union, Confederacy, or any country without a 4/5 vote from Congress, the Founder agrees, and as long as said country has no laws that go against this Constitution. Section 2: If ever the situation comes about where additional sections must be made to the Constitution, they shall be known as ‘Amendments to the Constitution’ and shall be grouped together in one document known as the ‘Bill of Amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of America’. Section 3: If ever the situation arises when the citizens of the Republic of America no longer feel this Constitution works, it may be replaced with a complete vote of ‘Yes’ from the Founding Council, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and at least one Robloxian from the Executive Branch. Section 4: As long as this Constitution remains as the official document of how the Government of the Republic shall be organized, it is the Supreme Law of all land claimed by the Republic of America.
