False. The Toronto Maple Leafs were worth $1.3 billion in November of 2014.
They're worth $1.15 billion now. And even then, they would be the only hockey team in the world worth more than the Rockets. Too bad they aren't though.

The Rockets, along with the SuperSonics were founded during the Summer of 1967 after the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup in April.
