For those who don't understand the Subject, What I mean is that ROBLOX should allow in the ROBLOX Settings (Website) [https://www.roblox.com/my/account] an option to disable the Whisper feature.
"Who can whisper me in-game" additional option in the Privacy Tab
If you are an MLG player or a pro gamer, you are able to understand this kind of situation where you are excelling at this certain game until everyone got mad because you're an MLG. Whispering you with threats and fan messages including love letter with mix feelings in it.
This is a pretty useful option for those who are RBLX Devs, YouTubers or just a random famous rep guy.
Pros:
- Players/Fans/Haters are unable to abuse the whisper command
- For those who doesn't want to get whispered by somebody
- Additional Privacy support for users
Cons:
- Nothing really
Take note that this is JUST an OPTIONAL feature. If you think there's a reason to decline this suggestion then post your reasons unless you're just a troll.
Add additional pros and cons whenever you have one. |

You do know you can simply block someone's chat just by typing in /block [username] , right?That way if people annoy you, you can block what they say in chat. |

What's the point? You can easily block them in chat if they annoy you. If you don't want to block them, what does it matter if they whisper? The only difference is that only you can see it. They would still be able to annoy you without it.

When playing in a 30 player server or being just so famous around. Are you telling me those people who are experiencing this kind of stuff will have to block all single player one by one in every server?

An extra tab in the chat that shows up the whispers so that you can just ignore it or focus at the General Chat.

Here we go again. So if you're already a famous person for instance like a ROBLOX Admin and joined a game. Many people will whisper you instead of talking at the chat. Most of the ROBLOX Games are now implementing 10+ Player server.
Sometimes being whispered will really piss you off like noobs threatening you to leave the server because you're attracting everyone's attention.
So when we are at a 20+ player server or in a Mega Server are you trying to say that we have to block all those idiots who are trying to ruin your day?
Blocking one by one is a HUGE waste of time. Especially for those who have limited time like kids being monitored by their parents to play 1 hour a day.
Wasting all those 10 minutes to check the leaderboard or probably read the chat again to know who's that players whispering you all the time and block them one by one every single time.
Those 10 minutes are very important for an MLG player like you! Imagine those 10 minutes. You could have gotten 3-5 kills on those time period.
The /block command will wear off once you leave the server. Its just used for chat.
/block player1
/block player2
/block player3
etc..
then *You suddenly got disconnected*
*rejoins back*
All those players you've blocked has been unblocked to bring back things the way it is.
If you still don't get THE difference between the disable whisper feature and the BLOCK feature then you're a Forum Troll.

Even if you DO remove to the option to whisper, you will still have to see their chat. Stop being stupid. The only way to not be bothered with their classic chat, is to block them.

What's the difference wheter they whisper it or not? If you disable whisper, what makes you think they won't say the same things they would say in whisper?
I highly doubt they'd use whisper in the first place to tell you things, if you disable they will still say it to you in regular chat, where BOTH whisper and normal chat appear.

Being whispered is different from being talked in the Chat.
If that happens then Moderators are able to see what's going on outside Whisper chat. So if somebody threatens you via Whisper instead of the Chat then only you can see it. If they did it at the Chat then you can easily report them.
Being talked about the Game in the chat should be fine since all players will get annoyed by that guy who brought up the topic. Others will just embarass that guy in order to prevent him from bringing up the topic. Examples like shutting them up.
There's no such idiot who will threaten using normal chat. All they do is to use whisper and take advantage about it. Incase players like that will use Normal Chat as said. The player can get banned or warned for doing so, easily.
So what's the difference?
A HUGE difference is when being SPAMMED in whisper chat by tons of players because of you not responding to them.
With the feature allowed that you've disabled whispering feature for you only then they won't be able to whisper you but instead spam in the chat.
Its not only you who can see the spam anymore meaning, other players will get annoyed to that guy not only you. Out of embarassment this guy will leave for what he has done through out the server. Probably there's a chance for the moderators of kicking him out for spamming too much. |

You didn't understand a single thing which counts you as one.
A Forum Troll like you will just try to bring down this suggestion in order to get what he wants.
The fact that your reasons don't even makes sense at all.
All you just have to say is that "There's a Block feature, use that instead."
The Block Feature is LIMITED for many reasons and those are some instances I posted.

and for future reference, it probably isn't best to have a Pros and Cons mini-segment if you can't find one thing for each side, since there's always going to be one.

MLG needs no words in gaming. You just need to react to every achievements you have.

Can't you get it? OPTIONAL. OPTIONAL meaning NOT every user's whisper chat will be REMOVED.
ONLY certain users who DOESN'T want to be whispered CANNOT be whispered.

Those are the characteristics of a Forum Troll. However, I don't see any characteristics or anything I posted at all. I have no intention in the first place to go use an offensive word in anyway for this is just a suggestion for the good and the better.
If you think I am a Forum Troll then go be it. This is my suggestion and I have my own rights to DEFEND with any negative impacts that doesn't even explain it at all.
Its just simple, easy to say no support without fully understanding the content and agree with other's opinion such as "BLOCK FEATURE" then NO SUPPORT. They don't even know how stuff like those works although its easy to predict what is it all about.
IF this suggestion is completely useless then give a BETTER reason that will deny the use of this suggestion. Block Feature has no use already since it has a LIMITED capability.

And nobody rarely whispers anyway.
You'll just have to accept that you didn't get supports, and we're not trolls, I think I've been on this forum way before you have.

I believe mods can indeed see what is being whispered to someone. If not, just block the person on chat.
