This forum is for a proposal for referee payouts in the OFL.
Have you ever been on the OFL group or any group in the OFL for that matter, and notice all the unused group funds? What do they do or go to? Nothing. Just wasted robux and tix going towards nothing.
Ever noticed how the referees of the OFL volunteer two hours or more of their time towards the league, sometimes being harassed and ridiculed despite volunteering.
To compensate our referees I propose that referees should be compensated with robux for each game. With around 10k flying around the OFL groups for referees, we could pay newer referees less and head referees more.
With the new ROBLOX update, groups can now provide payouts with the group funds to any player in the group even if they have no BC.
Not to mention it encourages better refereeing so they can get payed the following week to continue to gain more robux from refereeing.
Also, might as well use the group funds for something..

Adding on, bad performances may lead to less or no robux, so referees can't half ass their game and run away with robux. |

I don't see why you would half-ass a game in the first place. I wouldn't want my game half-assed and I feel that you wouldn't either?

Yea but refs (I could name names but for the sake of a saltstorm I'll just continue) aren't getting paid now and don't even know how to manage a game... |

yes but if there was money on the table much more people would attempt to join, and i know there is a lot of potential in the OFL but people are to lazy to join, with a reason we will get better refs. |

im already wealthy so i wouldnt care 2 much cuz most would prob be 100 rbx per game for head ref (lol) but still could be useful to nbcs and others not like me
would make reffing better 2

The rate at which this league earns money is SUPER slow. You may see a decent amount of money in the groups.. but that will run out past in payouts. The profit-payout rate is not on par. Group funds will go broke eventually with this process. It can work out, but here's 2 things:
1. I'm not about to payout each individual referee that needs payment when needed. Too much work.
2. The profit-payout rate. We will most likely payout more money than we earn. |

Also I think that teams should be able to pay their players the group funds. The best players get more and the worst players get less. We may have to go over a salary cap, but this will also stop all the begging to get people to lend nbc'ers money for their jersey,who they wanted made without thinking about the consequences. So I think EB should also consider this idea. |
