Ben Cherington is a god awful general manager. This year's Sandoval/Hanley contract busts are even WORSE than Crawford/Gonzalez in 2011. |

Fenway Sports Group is still making huge profits with the Red Sox and their assets, the same with Liverpool. The people inside the teams though aren't very good.

allow me to rant about the red sox for moment. ranting is fun. keep in mind im optimistic for everyone i rant about, but i enjoy ranting
john farrell has been doing a better job managing lately, but this genius stacks the middle of the lineup with a bunch of guys batting under .250
pablo sandoval should lose several thousand tons and learn some plate discipline, at least eliminate swinging at pitchers above his helmet and 2 feet out of the batter's box
hanley ramirez should learn how to ctach a fly ball and stop getting injured.
shane victorino is getting paid to pull his hamstring every 2nd game he comes off the DL
david ortiz isnt being his old self. i dont think age is the issue, his swing isn't consistent at all
mookie betts has a ton of potential but has made some mistakes in the field and has a very low batting average. patience though
if mike napoli could stop battin .213 that would be nice
the bullpen has been good and the pitching has been *BETTER*. porcello and kelly still have a ways to go |
