PLOT
May 13, 1983. A group of people arrived at an abandoned, desolate island resort via a boat. The boat operator said, "Welcome to the StunningView Resort. Enjoy your stay." before the passengers stepped onto the wooden docking ports. The captain handed the group a surplus of food and water, and waved goodbye at the passengers before turning his boat to drive away. The group was confused about why they ended up in another place rather than their destination.
The group looked at the place, rolling their eyes and turning their heads around. It was like the average resort with an hotel, except it looked a bit like it bargained for repairs that it never got for long years. "Huh, so this looks like the StunningView resort." a girl said. There were a total of 8 people in the group. Some were male, some were female.
Nobody knew why and how the place became like this. However, one knew what and told them about the history of the hotel. He said to them, "The reason why it's like that is because of a incident when I was here once. I was 18 years old, and this place was astoundingly beautiful. However, a lightning bolt happened to strike it, and every habitant had to flee to it. It was right around January 17, 1963."
The group was stunned in horror. They had now known why the island resort was badly damaged now. The man sighed and proceeded to explore the hotel as the other future victims split up to explore the rest of the resort. What they don't know was that the spirits of Frank Morris, John Anglin, Clarence Anglin, and Allen West is currently planning to simultaneously possess one of the people on the island during nights.
This leaves us one important question. Will they survive the StunningView Resort Massacre? Or will they succumb to the spirits of the Alcatraz escapees? Your actions will determine the answer.
BACKGROUND
You are one of the 8 people in the group who have arrived at the old, abandoned StunningView Resort. You were told by the man about why and how this once-gorgeous placeended up hideous after all these events that happened in the past. However, at night, which you don't know, one of you will become possessed by four spirits for every night. You have to avoid being killed when this happens, otherwise your character is dead. If you find out who is possessed, you have to try to exorcise the spirits rather than killing said person, as it will make matters worse.
PLACES
Stunningview Hotel
Ahh, the good ol' StunningView Hotel. Too bad it isn't like what it used to be and look like anymore. The hotel in general is tower-based with a casino as the first, main floor and the kitchen as the second. It has 10 floors with 10 residential rooms for each except for the first and second ones. Some of the rooms are slightly less damaged-looking than the other, yet already desolate ones. The rooms all have seperate balconies. There's no elevator and only stairs. Behind the hotel itself is the swimming pool, associated with several folding beach chairs.
Carl's Mall Plaza
Carl's Mall Plaza is a mall containing many shops. Inside are: 7-Eleven, JCPenney, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Big 5 Sporting Goods, an AMC theater built for showing 35mm and 70mm films alike, McDonalds and a Sure Save store. Looks disappointingly small compared to the average 60's shopping mall, isn't it?
StunningView Park
The StunningView Park is what is probably like the average 60's park. It has a couple of walkways, a fountain and a marble monument of H.G. Wells. It also has a now-dirty lake with wooden boats on it with paddles and a outdoor roller rink with a wide roller skate pair rack next to it. Wait, why isn't anyone in this park yet? Oh, I forgot this place was abandoned.
The Cabin and the Woods
Not much to say, save for just a bumch of trees surrounding a wooden, desolate cabin. That's all I'm saying. Not kidding.

-Of course it's my attempt at capturing the feel of 80's slasher movies, but this is still going to be a dice-roll RP. Also, everything you have and mention has to date before or during May 13, 1983.
-This was incomplete for over a month since I started work on May 2nd because of a semi-lack of interest and a shortage of ideas.

-This was originally called AXEACRE. Also, once I start the RP, I will PM one of you that you will be possessed on every night. However, if your character reveals himself/herself to be possessed without actually realizing it, your character's role as the night murderer will be taken away and handed over to someone else's. |

Appearance: Marty is about 5'11", weighs in at about 140, and wears a backwards cap like he's 16. He also wears one of them big puffy jackets like McFly, except it's blue. Like, not sky blue, but closer to navy blue. He wears regular blue jeans, and red and white sneakers. Also has glasses, brown hair, and blue eyes.
Inventory: A book, camera, and lighter
Bio: Born on the January 18, 1963, the day after the incident, Marty has had a rough life, as his mother decided to have 4 kids and refuse to have a second job, his father had to work 3 shifts at two different jobs. However, once Marty hit 18 he left home and traveled the country until he met up with a group of people that accepted him.
Other: Potato salad is his favorite food. |

Age: 19.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: 6'2, 231 LB. Has a black skin color. A big afro, hair color being black. black shirt but it's covered by overalls. Some cheap shoes, red and white.
Inventory: $20, pocket knife, and comb.
Bio: Was born and raised out in North Carolina. Was always bit of a cocky person, a smart ass if you will. But it all paid off with a good charisma, becoming a popular person. But, you'd think being a cocky person AND being good with words meant his IQ would be comparable to a potato. But, nope - graduate with perfect grades and all. Decided to go off to college to (where ever Sunny Plaza is..).
Other: A jock, and cocky, of course.

Name: Amber Pruitt
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance: The first thing you notice about Amber is her hair. It's a dull, bronze mess of frizz and hectic tangles. The last couple of stray hairs graze the small of her back. Her hair casts shadows of all sorts across her face, but her bright, steely, blue eyes dart beneath her uneven bangs. Her cheekbones are high and her face is thin, a look that would be otherwise severe if it weren't for her diminutive height and the feeling of paranoid helplessness that oozes from her. Bright red glasses slip down her Roman nose and she can often be spotted with her spindly hands at her frames - a habit often displayed in uneasiness or anxiety. Her thin and lanky limbs are hidden beneath baggy cardigans and long skirts. Sometimes there is a tear or two in her dreary be-stocking'd legs. She wears immaculate brown loafers and is a little under 5'3.
Inventory: Three penny dreadfuls, a bible, a Micheal Jackson record, ribbon, her luggage, and a handkerchief.
Bio: Ms. Pruitt graduated at the top of her class in 1981 at the University of California Davis with a double major in Education and Child Development. Her classmates knew surprisingly little about the Valedictorian, and while professors had high hopes for her- her good standing at the University could have easily earned he coveted Research positions- she faded away from the world of Academia, settling into a small town in the quiet hills of the California forestry. There, she lived in solitude for a bit, before becoming a teacher at the local elementary school. Her first class of students was wary of her, but warmed up to Ms. Pruitt when her dedication to helping each child enjoy their education and succeed shined through her awkward exterior. She was recognized with the Teacher of the Year award in 1982 at Glenville Elementary School.
Other: Amber is devoutly Catholic and easily offended. She doesn't play well with other adults and can be heard muttering verses under her breath. Definite soft spot for children and animals. |

Appearance: Medium-length black hair, growing slightly too long. Used to be some kind of side parting. 6'4, 74kg. Pale skin, dark brown eyes. Wearing a white plaid shirt (sleeves rolled up), a pair of jeans and some boots.
Inventory: Pair of sunglasses, half-eaten granola bar, flashlight, hair comb, spare change.
Bio: (This is gonna be horrid, so I hope you don't burn your eyes out :/) Born and raised in England to a middle-class family. He was - and still is - a fairly adventurous, friendly but sarcastic nerd, so it's no surprise that his IQ is higher than average. But perhaps he is too adventurous. (Given that we're going to be RP'ing with people hunting and stabbing us, this might get me into bad situations). Moved to the USA at age 20 to live with his cousins, and has lived there ever since. Went to the StunningView resort with the group.
