b this is a great feature, and you can toggle it on and off and select which key you want to explode with this isn't a troll, it actually gives the explode function a purpose

No support. Most games this would cause big issues, like for example a spaceship building game, you go into their bridge and blow yourself up trashing their ship. Or in a game that uses terrain, you blow yourself up and it puts a big damn crater where you were. Devs that want it can script it.
